Meet Angela

Student Ministry Assistant
Angela Krider

Born in the Philippines, raised in Hawaii, and now residing in the South, it is no surprise that Angela has a passion for international missions and to see youth reach the needs of the community (both local and abroad). Currently serving as the Student Ministry Assistant at The Church @ Clayton Crossings, Angela has a natural knack to inspire pre/teens to see the world through the lens of God’s eyes while also motivating them to love Jesus and to love like Jesus.

Having been heavily involved in Student Ministry throughout her teens, Angela eagerly jumped into the world of North Carolina Student Ministry in 2008. She has a huge heart for kids and students of all ages (though she may not admit it publicly) and thoroughly enjoys making ideas become a reality. One of her favorite things to do is to instill in her students the mentality that they have the ability to make a difference, regardless of their age and circumstance.

A graduate of East Carolina University’s Anthropology Department, Angela has recently moved back to Clayton after spending nearly two years of volunteering and researching in South America and Europe (tons of crazy experiences!). On her down time, if she isn’t catching up on the latest blog entry by Elle Campbell or reading the latest publication by Jon Acuff, you might just catch Angela on a weekend road-trip. With beef jerky never far from hand, aviator sunglasses on, and a good set of Spotify tunes, it is safe to say that Angela is a travel enthusiast and is always up for a new adventure.

Please feel free to say hello, but don’t mind her if she starts to wax poetic about food truck rodeos, clever puns, and coffee shops!
