Ed Zequiera was born in Ciego de Avila, Cuba and met the Lord at the age of 15 on February 23, 2004. Shortly after Jesus changed his life, Ed started working part-time with his new church in the media ministry. There he was in charge of a digital newsletter called “Voice of the New Covenant” which was sent to different churches in their convention and also to several churches outside Cuba via email.
In 2005, Ed graduated with a degree in education and began a career as a school teacher. That’s when he started the adventure of translation – little did he know that God would use Ed’s language skills for ministry. In addition to his service in local churches, Ed started a ministry of translation/interpretation called TRUTHTALKERS which partners with student ministries (and other groups) in Cuba. In between translating and church work, Ed and his wife have had the opportunity to help other ministries all over the Caribbean Islands. In 2012, Ed received his bachelor’s degree in Theology.
Ed and his wife recently moved to America and is now leading the media team at The Church @ Clayton Crossings.
