1. Mission Sites

We will be at various mission sites on Saturday Nov. 15

7th & 8th Graders
 – Church projects – this crew will help with various things around the church such as clean window, rake leaves, remove card board and some landscaping.

Needs – a few adults willing to help Mr. Ed over see the various jobs, a couple of rakes and some pruning shears

Tip- bring some work gloves that day and no open toe shoes

9th & 10th Graders
 – Kennedy Home – At Kennedy Home, school-age children are given an opportunity to
overcome personal and family problems while staff work to preserve or
reunify families. Length of placement is determined by the time necessary
for the resident and his/her family to achieve their goals.
Kennedy Home is operated by Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina
(www.bchfamily.org). Baptist Children’s Homes is a nonprofit child care
organization providing residential programs and services in 19 communities across the state.
The children who live at Kennedy Home are not strangers. They come to us from your community.
They attend schools in your area. You pass them in the store. They are your neighbors.

That day our students will hang out, take lunch and just love on the teenagers at the kennedy home. We will also be inviting the teenagers from the kennedy home to our worship service that night

11th & 12th Graders
– Habitat For Humanity – This crew will be going to partner with Habitat For Humanity. The crew will be helping build a home. They can bring their own tools like a hammer and a measuring tape if they choose to but not required.

This crew will be leaving for their site at 7AM on Saturday

Requirements – work clothes, closed toe shoes and participant form. The participant form is to be turned into the church office prior to the weekend.
